Recognizing that fighting

effort, the evening featured
an insightful and thought-
provoking panel discussion
on current efforts to combat
antisemitism in the Palm
Beaches and beyond.

Jewish Community Relations Council, the advocacy
and community relations arm of the nonprofit. Michael
Hoffman, Federation President and CEO, served as
moderator.
During the conversation, guests learned what each
of these entities is doing to stand up to antisemitism and
ensure Jews locally and beyond feel safe and protected,
with robust efforts on education as well as advocacy to
enact laws to strengthen penalties for antisemitic acts. Each
panelist also emphasized the value of each of us serving as
“upstanders” instead of “bystanders” to combat all forms
of hatred.

a joyous celebration as Hope Silverman received the
prestigious Jeanne Levy Community Leadership Award
