                                                                                                              Louisiana is a beautiful, interesting, and special place
                                                                                                           full of history. New Orleans is much more than the French
                                                                                                           Quarter with its jazz music and unparalleled cuisine. The
                                                                                                           city and environs holds a special place in my heart. If you
                                                                                                           haven’t visited, put it on your bucket list. Time is fleeting and
                                                                                                           like the winds of a hurricane, it doesn’t stand still, and one
                                                                                                           can’t make too many memories. Visit the Quarter and listen
                                                                                                           to some blues and jazz, maybe have dinner at Antoine’s. Go
                                                                                                           to the Top of the Mart and have an after-dinner drink and
                                                                                                           enjoy the view. The next day take a drive on River Road all
                                                                                                           the way to Baton Rouge, enjoy the scenery, the small towns
                                                                                                           along the way, and like Rhett Butler, just don’t give a damn
                                                                                                           about anything else.

                                                                                                              Well, you read this far so I guess I should get to the
                                                                                                           interesting part, right? PGA POA was originally incorporated
                                                                                                           in May, 1979. Yes, that is 40 years ago! I wish I had more
                                                                                                           photos of PGA National from the days after the developer
                                                                                                           transition (back in 1997) when I joined you. The community
                                                                                                           has come a long way!
                                                                                                              The Board of Governors will have some nice surprises

                                                                                                           diligent, qualified group of individuals working together on
                                                                                                           a “Transition Committee” that I have ever seen or heard of.

                                                                                                              Looking back, assessments were $497.50; the entry

                                                                                                              There are still enhancement projects ahead as always, but
                                                                                                           they are aesthetics; it is the people that make your community
                                                                                                           what it is. You are fortunate to have a great group of residents
                                                                                                           and it has been a sincere pleasure working for you. The PGA
                                                                                                           POA staff and Lang team are proud to serve as stewards
                                                                                                           of your community so thank you to the past and present
                                                                                                           volunteers at the POA and in each of the 40 neighborhoods.
