Just when you think it can’t get bigger or better, November
rolls around and the annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner
held at Gertrude Walden Child Care Center (GWCCC) turns
out to be more amazing than ever before!
This gift, that is sponsored by local organizations, churches,
businesses and individuals continues to grow every year.
On Nov. 21,100 committed and caring volunteers served
more than 4,000 traditional turkey dinners with all the fixings
to anyone who visited the Center between 3 to 6 p.m.
