Beth El Holds “An Evening their leadership and dedication and for

The Mereys were recognized for their long-standing musician Gyorgy Lakatos and his orchestra,
support of the synagogue as recipients of the annual Pillars and a performance by a team of Hungarian

Rabbi Leonid Feldman presented the award
to the Mereys. He thanked them for their
dedication and their many contributions to the
synagogue over the years.
The Gala Committee was headed by
co-chairs Tina and Dr. Manny Newmark.

Moshe Adler, Eric and Ilse Ahronheim, Craig Brigitte Merey, Mikala Merey, Alec Merey, Dr. Daisy Merey, Dr. John Merey,
Bachove, Dr. Ivy Faske and Jack Mayer, Drs. Peter Haas, DeeAnne Merey
Bob and Cheryl Finkelstein, Vera Kaminester,
Heline and Ilan Kottler, Roberta Kruta, Pat and Jerry Mallin, Daisy Merey has served on the Beth El Board of Trustees
Allen and July Marcovitch, Brigitte Merey, Drs. Daisy and for the past 15 years and John Merey is on the board of the
John Merey, Shelly and Helene Newman, Marcia and Bob Palm Beach Cancer Society.
