number of men. This year many of these people will also have
lost their jobs and their health benefits. Every two minutes,
one case of breast cancer is diagnosed in the United States.

to continue contributing to LMC’s success.”
As Lighton assumes the role of LMC’s senior advisor, he
will focus on:
• fundraising for the center’s Waves of Progress expansion
campaign
• developing the center’s environmental, social and
corporate governance endowment (ESG)
• enhancing the center’s stakeholder engagement
Lighton’s first task as senior advisor will be assisting
the center with its recently announced two-million-dollar
matching gift to the expansion campaign. The dollar-for-
dollar matching gift will allow the center to raise a total
of $4 million for the expansion and will place LMC in the
final phase of fundraising. To date, the center has raised $16
million of its $20 million goal.
“Caitlin and Tim perfectly suit the roles of co-interim CEOs as
a national search kicks off for the center’s next CEO,” said Wells.
“Both understand every facet of our organization, are aligned to
our strategy and have earned the trust of our staff, volunteers and
board members. I can’t think of two better-equipped leaders to
