Memorial Day to our nation’s fallen military heroes.
Participants removed their caps and held a minute of
silent reflection and prayer as a rendition of the solemn
Taps bugle melody played.
Thirty-six players, many of them veterans of various
branches of the Armed Forces, gathered in front of a large
American flag to honor all men and women of the military
who died in past wars to preserve our nation’s freedom. Army
veteran Ron Nolan, who saw combat in Vietnam, provided
the Taps musical recording for the ceremony.
